I love your rabbit! He is so cute! I used to have rabits when I was little and I miss having animals around to play with. Thank you for posting your cute picture! :-)
What is your favorite animal? Rabbits are cute but you can't really play with them. I love small dogs. I had a little dog (a dachshund named Peanut and he was very cute!! He would do such funny things like sleep on his back and he would sing too. I miss him.
We used to have two rabbits. One of them had to go to a new home because Annika was allergic to it. He was black and white and was called a "dutch rabbit". We named him Benjamin Bunny. This is how we got him: I worked at the Heartland Humane Society at that time and he was given up for adoption, so I adopted him. Benjamin Bunny lived in the living room in a large cage. His cage needed to be changed two or more times a day. Rabbit pee smells weird. The other rabbit lived in Corinna's bedroom. His name was Truffles and he was a small "dwarf" rabbit. How we got Truffles: We already had three cats and Corinna said she wanted a pet that was just hers and that she could take care of and keep in her room. Corinna and I read up on rabbits and learned that they only live for about six years, they were very quiet, and could be kept indoors. So we settled on a rabbit. Corinna picked him out at the pet store. They only had one Rabbit and it was the one she wanted. We had wood floor and Truffles had the run of the room with the doors closed so the cats could not get in. If a rabbit gets an injury of any kind, they are very fragile and could die from it. So a cat playing with it's claws might scratch a rabbit while being too rough. Corinna had to clean her room several times a day because Truffles never learned to just go potty in his cage like other rabbits are supposed to know how to do. Both rabbits were very cute. They did not like to be held. They liked it if you petted them when they were on the floor. We liked to watch them stand on their hind legs and clean their faces. We used a lot of newspaper to line their cages and there was lots of sweeping up of little round poops and mopping up after small "puddles" of pee. They eat Timothy Hay and that makes the house smell like a horses stable, which makes me think about times I have gone ridding horses. Truffles lived to be thirteen years old. We finally had to have him put to sleep because he was not eating well no matter what we did and he kept tipping over. Thirteen is like ancient for a rabbit. Indoor rabbits live much longer than outdoor rabbits. When outdoor rabbits get old, they start to get sick. Our vet told us that Truffles was very healthy because we kept him indoors. Having rabbits was a lot more work than I thought it would be. Because you can't do a lot with a rabbit and they are a lot of work to clean up after, I think cats and dogs make better pets for children. Cats and dogs will play and sit in your lap. There are some dog breeds that Annika will not have an allergic reaction to. There are some mixed breeds that are also good because they have the attributes of one of the breeds that is their parent who is a poodle. These are called "cockapoo" (cocker spaniel mixed with poodle), and "Labradoodle" (Labrador retriever mixed with poodle), I bet you can learn more about these breeds if you do an internet search!

We don't have a rabbit. Only my brother wishes he had a rabbit and we have a MANGNET rabbit.

Rabbits are an amazing animal. they can seem so soft and fragile and yet they can run very fast.
Rabbits are mostly very quiet. It is as if they have a secret to keep.
